Heather Averbeck, RN

Heather is currently a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit located in Colorado Springs, CO. Heather began mountain biking with her father as a young girl in a small town park in Northern Kentucky. She rediscovered her love of mountain biking during her time in college at Northern Kentucky University. Upon graduating she decided to move to Colorado to see what mountain biking out west was all about. Heather credits mountain biking with giving her the strength to keep mental and physical health while working night shift in an intense work environment. Heather hopes to share her passion for mountain biking as well as help spread resiliency techniques to other healthcare providers. She is also planning to race in a few mountain bike races with her teammates along the way!
